Experienced a really vibrant atmosphere here at IIT for last 4 days. I tried to be part of it but couldn't. Perhaps mood i is a fest which u shud attend when u r doing ur graduation !! The enthu and cheerfulness was somewhat distant. There are days in your life when u enjoy group hangout and total 'kalla' at most and after that u prefer little bit quiet things, and soltitude.
i attended only one event of this mood i " laughter lyrics" . It was a hindi kavi sammelan and had 4 very nice poets namely Dr. Kumar Vishwas, Ghanashyam Tiwariji, Sampat Saralji and Surendra Sharmaji. There seniority and quality of content was in the same order as names. Dr vishwas was the youngest of them and had most of the poems on "pyar, ishkq and mohobbat". His poems were little bit loud (synonimous to clothes: goddy). But he had a very positve attitude towards everything (jawani ka josh type). The other two poets had more and deep descent poems and with the touch of real life issues (like corruption). Even their love poems sounded more realistic !
Surendraji sharma was the best of them all. Presented a touching poem abt a family which was poor but united which becomes wealthy but narrow minded. some nice lines 'abt parant and children relation over a lifetime', 'deewarein and darrarein' (Thats it, i can remember this much only !)
In general liked the attitude and approach of hindi poetry. Its more spectator freindly....
